Installing the Play Store in your Fire Tablet

To do so, go to Settings > Security and enable “Apps from Unknown Sources”. This will allow you to install APKS downloaded from the internet.
As the PlayStore it isn’t available in the Amazon AppStore we need to download it from the internet.

3. If you have the 2017 Fire HD 8 download this Google PlayStore version otherwise Google PlayStore
Step 3: Install the APK files you downloaded
APK files will be stored under Docs > LocalStorage tab > Download
Simply tap on every file we’ve download. Order is important so install files in the same order it’s in the previous step.
Remark: If the “Install button” is greyed out lock the tablet and unlock it. It should turn to orange and then you can keep on installing the APK file
Step 4: Turn your tablet into a home controller
After installing the google play services, an icon will show up in the desktop. Open it. It will update in the background so maybe at the beginning it will look like it’s slow.
